The Story
Why Jeff Rhodes is running
This campaign was built on a simple belief: Pima County deserves leadership that listens, acts responsibly, and keeps the public interest first. Jeff is running to bring practical judgment, accountability, and a stronger sense of duty back to District 5 and Pima County
With a formal, solutions-focused approach, the campaign is centered on the concerns voters raise every day: safer neighborhoods, common sense budgeting, and local government that respects taxpayers while delivering essential services.

A MESSAGE FROM THE CANDIDATE
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Iโm running for Pima County Supervisor because I believe government should work for
the people it serves. It should listen, solve problems, operate efficiently, and deliver real
results for families and communities. Too often, people feel like they are fighting
systems instead of being served by them, and I believe we can do better.
Iโve spent my life in Arizona and have called the Tucson area home since 2005. I grew
up in Kingman in a family built around service and responsibility. My father served in the
Army and my mother dedicated her career to healthcare and administration. From an
early age, I learned the value of hard work, accountability, and showing up for others.
My wife, Vonda, and I have been married for 17 years, and in 2021 we made District 5
our home. We chose to put down deeper roots here because we believe in this
community and the people who make it special.
Throughout my career, Iโve had the opportunity to work in several different fields that
have given me a broad perspective on leadership and problem-solving. I served six
years with the Mohave County Jail, including two years as a supervisor, where I learned
how to lead people and make decisions in challenging environments. I later worked in
business management, spent more than a decade serving the Tucson area as a
process server, and earned my MBA from Davenport University.
Today, I work as a Mortgage Loan Originator right here in District 5. Every day I sit
across the table from individuals and families making some of the biggest financial
decisions of their lives. I see firsthand the challenges many people are facing, from
affordability and housing costs to the pressures working families experience every day.
One of my biggest pet peeves is inefficiency. I believe government should focus less on
bureaucracy and more on practical solutions. Leadership is not about titles or politics.
Itโs about listening, finding solutions, and making things work better for the people who
depend on them.
Iโm running because I believe our community deserves leadership that brings real-world
experience, common sense, and a commitment to getting things done. I love this
community, I believe in its future, and I would be honored to earn your support.

The principles behind the campaign
Commitment
Leadership with purpose
The campaign is not about slogans. It is about representing District 5 with seriousness, preparation, and a willingness to make difficult decisions in the best interest of the residents of Pima County.
Jeff Rhodes believes effective public service requires listening carefully, setting clear priorities, and staying focused on outcomes that improve daily life for residents. That means supporting law enforcement, protecting vital services, and rejecting wasteful spending that places new burdens on taxpayers.
Pima County deserves better, and better begins with leadership that is steady, responsible, and accountable.
